Live with Your Partner
Important things to keep in mind
You cannot bring your partner when you hold a permit for au pair, working holiday, cultural exchange, seasonal work, intern or apprentice. If you are obligated to integrate in the Netherlands, you must have lived in the Netherlands for one year with a residence permit before bringing your partner. Different requirements apply to Turkish citizens and their family members.
Have a valid travel document
Have a verifiable relationship
You are both 21 years old or older
You and your partner are going to live together and you both register at the same address.
Income requirements
Declare that you are a sponsor for your partner
You do not pose a danger to public order or national security
You are a Dutch citizen or have a valid Dutch residence permit
