What is TTPS?

TTPS (Top Talent Pass Scheme) is a pathway for qualified individuals to enter and look for employment in Hong Kong for up to 36 (category a) or 24 months (categories b and c) depending on their eligibility category. You may also bring your significant other and/or child with you.

This pathway is for those who are:

  • Persons with annual income equivalent to HK$2.5 million or more (Category A)

  • Graduates of eligible universities with at least three years of work experience (Category B)

  • Graduates of eligible universities with less than three years of work experience (Category C)

Requirements and Notes

  • Annual income means taxable employment or business income including salary, allowances, stock options and profits from self-owned companies. Regarding business income, in general, applicants should continually hold the relevant company shares throughout the tax assessment year preceding the date of application for the calculation of the annual income they can acquire from the profits of their self-owned companies. Income generated from personal investment will not be taken into consideration.

    • Qualifications must be at least equivalent to Hong Kong’s standard of bachelor’s degrees

    • The relevant work experience is accumulated from full-time employment or self-employment after graduation

    • Qualifications must be at least equivalent to Hong Kong’s standard of bachelor’s degrees

    • The relevant work experience is accumulated from full-time employment or self-employment after graduation

    • There’s a limit of 10,000 visas per year for this category

    • Applicant’s recent photograph

    • A valid travel document (such as passport)

    • Hong Kong ID card (if applicable)

    • Official graduation certificate of your highest level of education (minimum a bachelor’s) (b and c only)

    • Verification proof of the degree (b and c only)

    • Proof of work experience (a and b only)

    • Documentary proof of the applicant having annual income of HK$2.5 million or above in the year immediately preceding the date of application (a only)
