Permanent Residence

Have a valid passport

You do not pose a danger to public order or national security

Be tested for tuberculosis after arriving in the Netherlands. With exceptions

Have held a residence permit for at least five years. With exceptions

Had your main residence in the Netherlands during the entire 5 year period

Extended your residence permit in time

Have met and continue to meet the requirements for your residence permit

Currently have a residence permit for a non-temporary purpose

You did no give false or withheld information in your last residence permit application

Meet the income requirements

You are registered in the Personal Records Database at your local town hall

Have passed the civic integration exam at at least A2 level. With exceptions
